"Hey, you missed a spot." Phoenix seems to complain before breaking into a smile. "Just kidding. What's left is pretty minor, so we won't worry about it. But keep that thing handy in case we get into a real fight. It wouldn't be good to have to rummage through your pack for it while somebody is bleeding to death." she says before continuing on down the passage towards the light.

The 11 from the wand puts Phoenix at 29/31 (is that correct?) I went back to a post on june 26th Phoenix was at 22/31 so with the healing this time would be 31/31 now.

I believe Lookspring should now be 23/23 as well.

What are your actions?

OOC: Oops, I missed that later post with higher HP's. So she's full now then, good.

Phoenix continues slowly down the corridor watching for targets or obstacles.
 


ooc: I am assuming you will approach the lighted area cautiously and not just wander in./ooc



Peering into the lighted area you see a dimly lit candle on a table that radiates an unnatural yellow light. The table also contains a number of parchments. A leather bed with several empty bottles aslo occupy the room and standing near the bed is a Dwarf wearing breastplate armor holding a morningstar and shield, chanting in the language of the dwarves.

The sailors behind you cry out and you hear the sounds of battle. Risking a quick glance you see a scorpion attacking one of the sailors (#5), and another Dwarf attacking a sailor (#4) with a falchion.

sailor 5 takes 1 pt of damage, sailor 4 luckily avoids the surprise attack from the dwarf.

initiative rolls please :D
 

Phoenix goes undecisive as she is AGAIN surprised by these sneaky dwarves...

OOC: Can we have distances to the various enemies and how big the room and corridor and such are? Also, are there any exits to the room besides the tunnel we just came down?

chanting dwarf 20' away (opposite side of room which is 20' across roughly square with a tunnel to the east, you entered from the north.)The scorpion and fighter are behind you with the sailors inbetween. Dwarf fighter and scorpion ~ 20' behind you.

dwarf fighter hits sailor 4 for 5 points damage
sailor 2 attacks dwarf fighter and misses
sailor 5 attacks scorpion and misses
scorpion attacks sailor 5 hitting with one claw for 2 pts damage
Phoenix -charges the dwarf hitting for 18 pts

Phoenix charges the chanting dwarf connecting with a solid hit that almost knocks him off his feet, unfortunately he is able to complete his casting. You begin to feel the effects immediately, you feel a sense of fear and doubt your ability to win this fight causing a -1 to attack rolls and saving throws (will save at normal negates the effect)
