Ring of Blinking/Sneak Attack and more

I want to make sure everything follows the rules for the following character with the stated equipment.

Rogue/Fighter - 13th level total.

Relevant feats - Two Weapon Style, Improved Two Weapon Style

Equipment - Ring of Blinking, Ghost touch sword, Off-hand dagger

The character gets 4 attacks per round as follows:

Primary attacks - 2
Off hand weapon - 2

All the attacks allow for the use of sneak attack dice due to the Ring of Blinking (which denies a creature its dex bonus to AC, unless they have Uncanny Dodge or some other excuse :))

Add the feat Combat Expertise (i think that is the one - I don't have my books with me) and they get another attack, because the creature is denied dex.

The ghost touched sword negates the miss chance the primary weapon would normally incur with a ring of blinking. (The secondary weapon would have a 20% miss chance).

Does this sound right?

Just seems a bit overpowered - to say the least.

Thanks for any comments, and please feel free to ask any questions.

The ring of blinking makes you ethereal.

The ghost touch sword takes care of fighting/being incorporeal.

Ethereal, however, is not the same as incorporeal. They are distinct states, with separate entries in the DMG. A ghost touch sword wouldn't negate the miss chance from blinking.

I second that as well.

Also, the Feat you are looking for is named Expert Tactician (Combat Expertise is the new name for Expertise). And the Feats are Two-Weapon fighting and ITWF. The name Two-Weapon style is used with rangers only.

Correct.

(Note, however, that they left in the 3.0 PH description of etherealness in blink - it still claims that ethereal creatures are incorporeal. Sigh.)

If you want to avoid the miss chance to your attacks you could get an Improved Blink (spell from Unapproachable East) item.

die_kluge - Yes. Still work on campus :) Looking for my next promotion in about a month (Woo! Woo! :))

Camarath - NO! I don't want my player to get any better than what he is. He dishes out more damage than the fighter, and has an AC pretty close to his. Only thing he lacks is as many hit points, but not by much.

Thanks,
