Ring of Power

Isn't there some rule in the EHL that if a magic item cost more than 200,000gp it is epic.

Or was that only if one power costs more than 200k.

Base Price 200,00 or more not including price for the armor, the weapon, XP etc. So, that would boost this item to a cost of around 4,500,000gp

isn't the most expensive ability the 'Heal 1/day' at 25,000 gp?

or am I wrong and it's only the always on stuff?

No, your right. I missed that when I was adding numbers up.

actually, this is an epic item (because it costs more than 200,000 gp) and os would require the craft epic ring feat - which requires a 32nd level character. also, the price doesnt get multiplied by ten, as someone (crothiaan?) posted - that only applies for abilities that go beyond the maximum normal bonus. so, if the ring had a resistance bonus of +8 or so that ability would be 640,000 gp but all the other abilities get calculated by the normal d&d rules. regardless, its still a hideously powerful item, on par with some artifacts - which is why it requires a 32nd level character to make something like this

thanks, it was one of those things where it doesn't really change the end answer, so it doesn't truly matter, just seeing it and saying to myself, no that has to be right, caliban posted it....

but ...

... brain fizzle...
