That seems like a neat idea for balance. Just keep the item as-is but make it so that it can only recharge powers equal to the item's level? OR maybe even equal to the plus of the item (so a +2 could recharge level 1 dailies)? That's much lower in power but still reasonable, but then you don't have a reason to have anything other than a +1 and a +5 version of the thing...For those houseruling the power back in, has anyone thought about a clause to keep the renewed power in line with the armour's level? So that the level 2 armour couldn't be used to renew all your high epic-level powers?
