Leomund's Secure shelter
A small wooden hut materialises on un occupied ground near the ritual spot.
Level 5
Category: Creation
Time: 10 minutes
Duration: 24 hours (can be dismissed)
Component cost: Special
Market price: Special
Key skill: arcana

At creation a small wooden cottage appear on the marked ground. The cottage fills 5x3 squares with the cottage comes with a place to sit and keep guard in front of the cottage with an extended roof.

The interior depends on the arcana roll.
When you make the arcane roll you can choose to downgrade (to save money)

1-9 - 20 gold
empty: You'll need to get your bedrolls here. but hey... atleast you'll be dry

10-19 - 30 gold
Decent beds for up to 8 people, a table and an empty fireplace

20-29 - 50 gold
Seperate rooms with a comfortable bed, a common room with a good table, a prelit fireplace and food/water for everyone.

30-39 - 75 gold
A regular mansion. A big room for every one with a really comfy bed. Good food and water for everyone. Comes with an unseen servant to help with the mundane task (mage hand rules). The house is magically tempered and lit.

Alternativly the price could be per person in the campaign to keep the pricing equal to different party sizes.

What do you guys think of this. The thing is i dont want it to be too expensive and too high level. First it dowsn't have any real power value. its pure luxury. also it has downsides. normally when people are sleeping in the open or a tent tent they can make passive perception checks at a penalty. that penalty would be much lower. even to the point that they wouldn't hear if the guard was silenced. The pricing has to be so it is a realistic choice for the party. "Do i really wanna pay 5gold to live with a little style instead of a damn tent".
So that has to be balanced so it aint too expensive or too cheap.

The different shelters could also be different rituals. but i really like the fact that is the party works together and wanna pay. they can live in high luxury even at the low level.

Thematically, I have trouble with it, though others might not, and it might fit well in some campaigns. Dropping a hut anywhere IMHO robs the natural world of its mystique and cheapens the adventure of surviving the wilds.

Mechanically, I would change just a few things:
Diminish duration to 8 hours, just enough for an extended rest.
Don't provide food, as it steps on the toes of Traveler's Feast.
Make it clear that it can't be used as Leomund's Secret Chest.
