Robin Hood 1x01 "Will You Tolerate This?"

Is it not? A friend of mine has the DVDs, so I would assume, that they are also available in the US?

Bye

I think they've been released but are not in stock at most retailers (e.g. Amazon.com)--sold out effectively. They're available on Amazon.co.uk.

I enjoyed it. There was lots of fun to be had, I thought the acting was pretty good (nothing special, but good enough) and all in all it was a nice bit of Saturday evening fluff. It's possible that they've mistaken Robin Hood for Hawkeye of Avengers fame or possibly Bullseye, though!

Missed the Torchwood trailer though.

I enjoyed it too. Some of the editing was a little dodgy, and the sword flinging was a little silly (ok, very silly) but on the whole it was pretty entertaining.

I recently bought the Robin of Sherwood first series. I remember it being great... But sadly it hasn't withstood the test of improved production values and seems a little naff now.

Missed the Torchwood preview too... Really will have to stop watching everything on Sky+ :)

I thought it was pretty good. Maybe not as good a Robin of Sherwood (not much is), but better than Prince of Thieves (at least they figured Nottimgham isn't on the coast!).

I liked how they did some of the usual set-pieces (like stoping the hanging, and the double-arrow shot) with a different set-up. I also liked how they side-stepped the Robin of Loxley/Robin, Earl of Huntindon question by making him both.

glass.

I didn't find it any more kid-oriented than Hercules or Xena. Thought it was pretty good, though the "humor" or Much was terrible and could make me stop watching. Marian was gorgeous, so glad she wasn't a blonde.

DVDs used to be, or still are, released in a US format and a rest of the world format (1 and 2 or someting like that). Most DVD players sold in the last 5 years or so can play either format. If I'm not mistaken, Robin of Sherwood has NOT been released in the US version for some bizarre reason (like they hate me or somesuch:)).

Region encoding, and it's still very much in use. There's also the issue that the UK uses a different television format than the US (PAL vs. NTSC).

I downloaded the first episode and deleted it about two-thirds the way through. If I wanted something camp, it might be okay, but that's not what I'm interested in. It reminded me a lot of the Costner movie (minus the better actors and the lame Brian Adams song).

What's wrong with blonde hair?
