Roc Games?

Does anybody here know if Roc Games is still in any sense of the word active? They looked like a pretty decent company when i submitted some stuff to them, but as of now they haven't updated their website in 3 1/2 months. No updates lately on their forums either. Anybody here know?

I don't have any definite answers, but I will say that I have enough confidence in Roc that I'm still working on projects for them. I know that they've lost some staff and I'm sure that it's slowing things down. All I can suggest is that you go to their website (www.roc-games.com) and send a message directly to Peter Raines, the owner.

Hope that helps,

Christoph

Roc Games dropped out of the RPG scene some time ago. I still talk with Peter Raines the former owner on occasion. Something in particular you need? You get email me offlist.

Thread necromancy at its finest!

Don't go to the web site. It's been sold to someone who has a masterful use of a lot of naughty words that would make grandmas run screaming.

Of course, now you're going to go there just to see...

I worked with Roc Games briefly on a Celtic book project that fell apart. After getting no updates and watching authors talk to each other in circles on a private forum (with no official company input), I bowed out.

My assumption is that Roc Games is most decidedly non-functional, at least in the d20 publishing sense. The lack of a web site seems to confirm said assumption.
