Rock & Rule ever on DVD?

Does anyone remember this weird carton called Rock & Rule? It was a anime after WWIII where all the animals became people. One of the characters, Mok, was very Iggy Stardust like and was trying to summon a demon while the hero, Omar, was a bit of a dunce trying to make sure Angel, his lady, was safe.

Good stuff and would be great on DVD with a 5.1 surround sound but I think like Heavy Metal originally, it may have some copyright issues. Haven't heard anything about it for a long time.

I have the video tape for this movie. I've looked but haven't been able to find it on DVD. I hope they eventually release it on DVD. Otherwise Mok might put a "heck" on them :)

Believe it or not, I've never seen it...but I have the comic book version! Marvel put out a "Super Special" or something shortly after it was released.

Oh, yeah; it was one of the first things I ever put to a VHS tape back when it was run on cable. Never got to see it in the theaters. It was very good, and I still watch it from time to time.

Mok has the best lines. "'Evil' spelled backwards is 'Live' and we all want to do that, don't we?"
