The movie is scheduled to hit theaters December 20th and its official site can be found here.
It seems that just like Rocky II, III and IV, this one will also have been directed by Sylvester Stallone himself (whereas Rocky and Rocky V were directed by John G. Avildsen).
For those with the Comcast HD-DVR and its HD service: they currently have 16:9 HD versions of all five of the previous Rocky movies in On Demand which can be watched for free.
Once you're in On Demand, just go to:
HD On Demand --> Free Movies!--> All Movies
Then scroll down, find which Rocky film you want to watch and choose it. They'll be there until the end of January.
There are also non-HD versions of the previous five movies in On Demand, though unlike the HD versions, they're only presented in the 4:3 non-widescreen format.
In any case, it's been a while since I've seen any of the Rocky films and I just finished watching the first Rocky in HD. I'll have watched the other four in HD before Rocky Balboa hits theaters... and I'll have watched them all for free!
