It is confusing, whether it's intentional (as in, you do get 10 skills) or not's the question, one that can probably be easily solved by looking at the examples given on the same page.
if it's 4 skills, a better way of saying it would be:
Trained Skills: Stealth and Thievery plus four others from the class skills list below at 1st level.
Class Skills: etc, etc, etc...
Of course, I am curious as to how they're going to handle the skills of multiclass characters. Can't just give them all away at 1st level now that ranks are gone... unless you only get the bonus skills at your 1st level of multiclass and not the 'free' skills like Stealth and Thievery, which could explain why Stealth and Thievery are on the class skill list: you have to buy them if you want them from the alotment of 4.
