TSR, WoC, FASA, Steve Jackson - they've all had some big hits. But what about their failures? In this came, participants list RPG products they are certain would have been smash failures had they been released commercially. I'll start the ball rolling:

I was going to post something about the “Law & Order RPG” where each player has two characters; a detective for the first part of the adventure, and a lawyer for the second part. However, the more I thought about it, the more I thought this idea actually had potential and wasn’t all that funny after all. Oops.

So instead I’ll nominate From Justin to Kelly the RPG.

Or perhaps a LARP version of RISK.

Sadly, the game failed due to its inability to sell any supliments beyond the core book.
