The Spawn of Fashan.

It was waaaaaaay ahead fo it's time

I remember this game review, although I've never been so lucky to see the game itself. That whole "Boosboodle, a land just south of where Melvin is standing now" thing kills me. I'd love to see a D20 "Spawn of Fashion: Return to The Temple of Boozebuudal Evil" where the PCs quest to find the missing stats of female characters. Melivin has them, of course.

I was lucky enough to get a copy through Piratecat's connecting with the author a few years ago. It was a nice conversation piece, but I needed to sell it a while ago when I hit some financial difficulties.

Dude, that’s like saying “Well, I had the Necronomicon once, but I had to sell it off.” Money is transitory, but BAD is forever!!!

But seriously, I’m sorry to hear that. Did you ever try actually running it? Was it as bad as the legends seem to indicate?

The Pokemon RPG.

It's called the Pokemon Jr. Adventure Game. It was published by WotC, and it really exists. Here's a review
I actually picked this up at Wal-Mart to play with my nephews. They love it!

Speaking of games that really exist, but bombed miserably.
Anyone remember The Bullwinkle and Rocky Role Playing Party Game?
I enjoyed the old cartoons, but you couldn't pay me to take this game home.

Metamorphosis Aphasia: roleplay people with this condition, designed by sufferers. Or, as it says in their intro- "Chocolate meat fuzzy verb. Tan flange accelerated bananna! Accoutrement fish, blonde, hypersonic....PLUM!"

Abomination: the Awakening

Abomination, the awakening puts players in the shoes of newly constructed Monsters. Inspired by the works of Mary Shelly. Failed because, despite being phenominally strong compared to humans, the constructed monsters were never even on the same power scale as either of the other white wolf staples.

(I didn't know if the reference was purposeful or not, so I just had to make sure to point out that an upcoming WoD game IS based (at least partially) on Frankenstien....)
