How do you role-play a wizard in a unique way?
I'm trying to create a character with a different perspective on the world, a character who truly feels magical in their personality/attitude alone.
One idea I have is that the wizard's mind is full of symbolism. Whenever someone mentions a word (e.g. "West"), the wizard hears both the normal meaning (cardinal direction) and a symbolic meaning (death, grief, watery nature of life, feelings, dreams, etc). Thus the wizard might always talk in symbolism. Any ideas?
