Thanks.

That's tough. I'd play him as a slow learning. If someone used a rather big or rare word I'd be confused as to its meaning. You can give him a temper, becasue he is easily frustrated becasue of his slow mental facilities. Or he could be very introvert.

I would say the easiest way to do that would be to jump to conclusions before you've accumulated enough information. Just make premature snap judgements. Then act on them, impulsively.

Your character will be fun to play and watch, cause all sorts of trouble, and may be a little frustrating for the DM, but the good out weights the bad I think.

I was recently in a campaign where I played a character with a 6 intelligence. Mentari was a sohei (from OA), who had spent his entire life within the monastery walls. I played him as being just uneducated in the ways of the world, having been so secluded. He was easily tricked because he'd never had reason not to trust everyone, and was hesitant to act if there wasn't a clear "right" way to do things. To paraphrase Sissy Spacek in Coal Miner's Daughter, he may be ignorant, but he ain't stupid.

Hmm...I should try to work more Coal Miner's Daughter quotes into my daily conversations...

I think we really need more info about your character. Charisma and alignment could be useful.

One idea I like is the stupid guy that thinks he's intelligent (due to low wisdom). He keeps trying to prove his 'intelligence' by using long words (often out of context, mispronounced or even totally fabricated) and coming up with all the 'cunning plans' (think Baldrick's plans from Blackadder...)
