Roles within a tribe?

Does anyone know of a website that I can reference to get ideas about individual roles within a tribe? Any kind of tribe (native american, african, etc etc).
For use in an rpg, I'd use the Auspices from the W:tA rpg:
wiki said:
* Ragabash: Auspice of the new moon, the Trickster. The Questioner of the Ways. Ragabash have a duty to question Garou society and, by so doing to show what needs to be changed and what doesn't.
* Theurge: Auspice of the crescent moon, the Seer and Shaman. The Searcher of the Ways. The Theurge serve as intercessors between their Garou brethren and the spirits.
* Philodox: Auspice of the half moon, the Mediator, Counsellor and Judge. The Keeper of the Ways. The Philodox are tasked with knowing the laws of the Garou by heart, thus discerning right and wrong as well as settling disagreements.
* Galliard: Auspice of the gibbous moon, the Bard. The Lover of the Ways. The Galliard remind the other Garou of their heritage and history with their passion for the ways of the garou.
* Ahroun: Auspice of the full moon, the Warrior. The Protector of the Ways. While all Garou are warriors, the Ahroun excel at the arts of war, even if they are often unstable. Their task is to enforce the ways with skill, tactics and, if necessary, with brute strength.

There are two types of tribes, stationary and migrant. Don't let the term stationary fool you, the tribe is also migrant but settles in an area for a few years then moves on. A migrant tribe is always on the move, normally following herd animals. Stationary have their own animals they care for.

Roles:
  • Outriders / Scouts - this role looks for dangers and camp sites.
  • Herders - protector of live stock, a sub-role of the outriders / scouts.
  • Pathfinders - Not just a scout, these make contact with other tribes and peoples, they have high charisma, inteligents and wisdom.
  • Hunters / Fishers - those that provide food. In migrant tribes, these take from the herd they are following but also from the area and may have a duel role as scout. Stationary tribes still have hunters but also may have warriors.
  • Warriors - most tribes, everyone has some knowledge of combat but some tribes live by raids and have this class.
  • Wise men / Witch doctors / Law Givers - the care givers and religion of the tribe but also the teller of tells and history.
  • Chief - there can be only one. This is the person that leads the tribe, he is the decision maker.
  • Gathers - tribes make goods that they trade among themselves or to others. Many times this is the young.
  • Makers - this group makes the good the gathers have provided. Arrows, dyes, outfits, etc. This group is mostly those that have moved pass their prime but still provide services. This group teaches the skills.
