So, 34, non-alcoholic Canberran, predominantly DM'ing since the 1980s, who's running a Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil campaign. You'd be my evil twin, then. Are twins ever both evil?

Cheers, Al'Kelhar

I'm not your evil twin! I'm your alt, the one set up for you to argue with! :-)
Anyway, hopefully I'll be finished RttToEE in about 3 weeks.

Canberran.

Typical 36 year old public servant. Been gaming since 1981 (Blackmoor) - and wife doesn't understand. Played a little MERP, Traveller, Paranoia and all the variants of D&D (Blackmoor, Basic, Expert, 1st, 2nd with kits and all, 3.0 and 3.5).

Currently playing in two live 3.5E hack and slash games (once a month each to give each DM some play time) with 7 players a piece (always get TPK around 10th level), a superb PbEM (was 2nd Ed, now 3.0, moving to 3.5) game that has about 10 years under its belt, and a 3.5E PbP home brew on these boards. Nothing esoteric about them, just plain good fun.

Love these boards. I don't even bother with the Wizard's boards unless someone links to them from a thread here.

Gaming since about '86, mostly DnD flavours, but I've enjoyed sampling other systems over the years. Forgotten Realms has been the most common setting played and gm'd with.

Biggest difficulty these days is getting the players together at the same time, in the same place ... with the GM >:)

From Brisbane myself and know of at least three other ENWorlders from Brisbane, who have not yet sounded off. I am actually from Ipswich, but spend enough time in Brisbane due to uni and work that I might as well call myself from Brisbane.

In regard to looking for a group in Sydney, try the Ruby Covenant which is based in Albury, but has a forum for people looking for groups or DMs in each of the different states.

Personally my wife and I havent played regularly for about 2 years now, and no game since mid last year due to lack of time from friends due to uni or work. However that might change hopefully (fingers crossed, please fingers crossed ;) ) in the near future.

Hope you find a group soon.
