Spelljammer Roll20 gives a sneak peek at Spelljammer character options

Roll 20 blog gives us a preview of the character options for Spelljammer. Aside from the six races, we get a preview of the two backgrounds. From the sound of them, they both grant free feats from the PHB, which should basically confirm that is the new norm for backgrounds.
