Chu Pa-Chieh smiles at Zhang Fei with a clear sign of admiration, this is a man whom he might follow willingly. Tossing his equipment aside he goes into a ready stance, the barbarian is well aware that though the other man may enjoy his drink such things can be deceiving.

Unfortunately he takes too long seizing up his opponent who moves first, Chu Pa-Chieh attempts to bring his knee up into Zhang Fei's stomach to break the grapple and then feeling the red heat of his rage rising up to blaze in his cheeks he locks his own arms about Zhang Fei and laughing joins the wrestling competition

(ooc AoO roll 11 (Bab +5), then after Rage*, Grapple check roll 16 (Bab +7*))

Zhang Fei laughs at the attempted knee strike from Pa-Chieh.

Want to play rough, do you? I can do better! Hahaha,

Zhang Fei balls up his fist and slams two fists hard into the gut of Pa-Chieh, punches that could very well floor Pa-Chieh.

Zhang Fei makes an attack roll of 30 and 28, and causes 20 damage with both punches.

Chu Pa-Chiehs eyes bulge and he feels the bile in his throat as Zhang Fei hits him with two powerful blows to the gut. Releasing his hold Chu Pa-Chieh lets himself go with the second punch which lifts him onto his toes before he drops forward onto his hands and knees and satisfied that Zhang Fei is by far the more competent warrior allows himself to collapse onto the ground where he remains for a moment catching his breath and letting the pain ease from his body - Master Zhang Fei and his brothers are indeed worthy of respect....

Zhang Fei looks at the fallen Pa-Chiehs and with a smile on his face, helps him up to his feet.

Haha, does that now prove our worthiness? We have fought in honorable combat with me winning. Now, there's a medical tent over there, fifth tent from your right, go rest in there.

Liu Bei looks up at the rest of the group and smiles.

Welcome to our army, we move out tomorrow to another town, then, on to free this land from the rebels.

Keeping his head low Chu Pa-Chieh gives a slight grin despite the hurting
"Most worthy" he answers through his breathlessness "thank you Master Zhang Fei, Master Liu Bei" and then limps over to the medical tent indicated.

Niu Long-Tian sighed as he reached what would soon become the battlefield. He turned to his companions and spoke in a hushed tone:"Five-Hundred to fight Fifty-Thousand? Sounds like fair enough odds to me.. I wonder what miracles these brothers are expecting from us..."
