In celebration of the two year anniversery of 101 Spellbooks, Ronin Arts will release A DM's Directory of Demiplanes on September 17, 2004. This new PDF, written by Philip Reed with Michael Hammes and illustrated by Christopher Shy, presents 24 demiplanes -- each described in 2 to 4 pages.

A DM's Directory of Demiplanes is designed specifically for the DM and includes, in addition to the 24 demiplanes, characters and monsters, organizations, and adventure hooks for planar campaigns.

Watch www.creationcrash.com for samples and news as this projects comes closer to release. Currently, a sample demiplane is available in the Creation Crash forums.

Also, Ronin Arts will be releasing the 176-page Forbidden Arcana on September 1st. This massive PDF collects the smaller Forbidden Arcana releases, the free releases in the line, and new material -- all with a new layout and new art. Those who have purchased all of the smaller Forbidden Arcana PDFs before September 1, 2004 will be sent this collection at no charge.

If I could, I'd buy it now.

Hey, if you find a way to buy it now would you send it back to me? It would make finishing the work a lot easier if I know what I did before I do it.

I hope people will enjoy this one. It's a lot of fun to write.

If there were alternate realities for truckers would they be semi-planes?

If they were up-powered would they be hemi-planes?

Special thank you to Mongoose . . .

Ronin Arts has secured permission to reference the planes and organizations in Mongoose Publishing's Classic Play: Book of the Planes. Through this arrangement, A DM's Directory of Demiplanes will be a richer product with more life and energy than we could have arranged in a single book.

DMs using Classic Play: Book of the Planes will find A DM's Directory of Demiplanes an excellent expansion for the planar campaigns. For those without Mongoose Publishing's book, these references are setting-based only and are not required to use these demiplanes in a campaign.

This PDF is going to remind people of what Ronin Arts is capable of. Our short PDFs, while useful in campaigns, lacks the graphic polish and vibrancy that myself and Christopher Shy can bring to a product. A DM's Directory of Demiplanes is getting our full attention. For those who wish to save ink, a graphics-lite version will be included with the final product.

Shouldn't that be GM's Guide? Can you use DM in the title of a book like that?

Others have. Can you point me to an official Wizards document that states you cannot? (Seriously, because I haven't been able to find one that say you cannot use DM in the title.)
