I am half-tempted to create several dozen accounts and vote the blasted Improved Initiative off the face of the Earth...

Improved initiative.......Great I go first agianst the red dragon. Well, he's not dead with my first blow so now we'll go round and round in a cyclical fashion and my feat continues to offer no new benefit

Weapon finesse. Mainly because it is secondary to a lot of other useful feats for similar builds. Rogues benefit greatly from Improved Initiative and the bit meatshields live and die with Power Attack.

As much as I would have liked to vote for Improved Init, I had to vote for weapon finesse because it has the lead on WF and I need to protect my choice, Power Attack.

And yet, had you voted for the real loser, Improved Init would have the most votes, not Weapon Finesse. For shame. For shame.

I can't imagine a world where Weapon Finesse is a better feat choice than Improved Initiative or Power Attack. Maybe if I wanted to play a fighter who could do no more than the base weapon damage because I don't have a Stength bonus to add in. "Ooh, I hit again. Feel the sting of my thin wimpy steel blade! Take another 4 points of damage, scum!" That certainly is dramatic, no? Especially compared to that lackluster greatsword-wielding brute who can only manage 5-16 points per hit (1-12 plus 4 for high Strength), more with that worthless excuse for a feat Power Attack. My 1-6 rapier damage beats that every time!

If I was going to make a Dex-based fighter, I'd roll up a swashbuckler (Complete Warrior). And you know what? They get Weapon Finesse as a class feature.

Can we vote for Zen Archery too, since I rolled up a cleric and wanted to take full advantage of my high stat? Or maybe a feat that would allow me to add my Charisma modifier to my attack rolls, since I made a sorceror or paladin and invested a lot of points into Charisma.

Again for Improved Initiative. Its slightly in the lead now, but this is pretty close.
