Round 8 is OVER!

I'll go with Firelance this time - Improved Turning.

Sir! I must protest! I was the first person to vote for Improved Turning (this round, at least). I even provided a lovingly-crafted rant to justify my decision! :D

BLIND-FIGHT [GENERAL]

One of the feats that rely too much on DM cooperation. No invisible enemies, no blind fight.

I'm still voting Combat Expertise. If I have to take a to-hit penalty, I'd rather get something in return that will make the combat end faster.

It can be useful if you're hoping your friends will do the "make the combat end faster part", while you take care of the "before I myself get reduced to negative hit points". If you're a meat shield protecting a fireballer, or you're a moderate combat person with some better tanks around you and you're low on HP on a wide-open battlefield (so meat shields aren't effective), fighting defensively can be a boon, and Combat Expertise helps you do it at a better tradeoff.

Empower Spell

Yay! Metamagic feats are finally on their way out! Empower Spell should be next, because Maximize Spell is better any time the average number is less than two/thirds the maximum, so if you must go the metamagic route that's the way to go.

Make it a class ability of fighters!

Not exactly. This would mean that you can only specialize in a single weapon. Instead, you let it be a feat, and fighters get one specialization for free at level 4 (in addition to the normal bonus feat). Same for Improved WF and IWS at levels 8 and 12. And one weapon focus for free at level 1,2 or 3.
