Yeah, H2 is worth getting for setting material. The only reason to get H3 and H4 is if you want to run such a high level game. H1 is cool too, especially if your interested in some mass battles. But if I remember correctly there is very little setting info in H1, 3, and 4. In fact you may just want to hunt down the Bloodstone Lands book done up for the FR setting.

Yeah, I'm aware of the later FR book, but I want to see how it was presented before it was "put into" the Forgotten Realms. I want to see the setting material without the FR trappings. That's what I assume I'll get with H2. I'm not interested in H3 or H4. :erm:

Perhaps I missed it in past round:
B10 - Night's Dark Terror is the best ever.

And I have over half of the originals, and probably have read them all at least twice.

B10 was in the poll for last round. I was surprised by how many votes it got. It's definitely on my "to get" list.

I'm definitely interested in finding out what people think of I7 Baltron's Beacon and N3 Destiny of Kings. An overview would be nice. Thanks. :)

I know I liked Destiny of Kings, but its been so long I need to get it out and read it again to remind myself as to why. I just have general memories of having a good time running it.

I have Baltrons Beacon, but I only read it when I bought it, 20 years ago? Never ran it.

I'm a bit surprised of the number of votes for DA2. Now, I don't know about the original, but there is (or was) a 3E conversion of it available for download from WotC's web site.

I was interested because I've used Blackmoor as the basis for my homebrew setting. But I thought the adventure was absolutely terrible. Maybe someone could pipe up and tell me what's supposed to be good about it?

Update: The modules I purchased today at my FLUGS (i.e. Whyte Knight)...
  • I7 Baltron's Beacon
  • UK6 All That Glitters...
  • XL-1 Quest for the Heartstone

And, I decided to buy another one today...

> N3 Destiny of Kings

I'm really obsessed with old modules right now. :p

[EDIT]
I'm already considering the next round but I'm going to wait until next week, at least. I need to think closely about the ones I want to add to the next poll.
