[RPG] Changes to magic

Well, they'll be spending money on MP boosters that they won't be spending on armour. By not buying the armour, they should end up with far more MP than those who choose the "warrior" route rather than the "wizard" route.

At least, that's the idea. At the very least, it means that all characters won't be exactly the same as each other, as they tend to be right now.

but getting hit reduces MPs and using spells reduces MP, you run out of MPs fast. MPs are also more expensive then HP to replace.

Can we get potions that heal more then 100 hp and 50mp??

Weird. Given the prevalence of magical attack forms most creatures probably shouldn't damage MP.

For some creatures (i.e. the Wraith) it makes a lot of sense though. :)

Update: Getting hit damages MP - casting spells does not cost MP. I just Magic Missiled a kobold twice and ended the fight with the same MP as I when it started. So still a few kinks to iron out.

magic is costing me mp. I am getting rounds where I have to reload the battle page a couple of times to get a magic attack I have the mp for or a physical attack. I've even had a couple of rounds that only had a single option or no option at all.

Actually just click on the magic attack option when presented, if you have insufficient MP it just reloads the page anyway.
