RPG Crowdfunding News – The Wagadu Chronicles, Stargate SG-1 RPG, and more

This week’s article features RPG crowdfunding projects that end by November 5th. There are so many that end in this timeframe, I could not link them all. That said, check out the links in the “RPG Quick Hits” section for some great content. When I ran the Esper's Emporium of Esoterica Kickstarter two weeks ago, I left out an EN Publishing-centric piece of trivia, Esper, the individual behind the Emporium of Esoterica, wrote for EN Publishing’s EN5ider at the dawn of its run in 2015. It was nice to bring that full circle. Now, on to the RPGs!

Including the Stargate RPG, which has me a bit nervous as all artwork shared so far is pretty awful (IMO). But still, Stargate and D&D!

I've already backed Worlds Without Number and Stargate rpgs.

Stargate has me excited because it's the first 5e derived game that truly changes the class structure. You have a class up to level 5, then it's classless after that.

WWN is going to be THE fantasy genre rpg Toolkit book. Everybody who likes playing fantasy genre games will get something from this game. It looks like it will have about double the GM tools/world building tags/adventure help that SWN has.

Worlds without Number (Wwo#) I'll definitely back. Maybe even physical copy.
Wagadu I'm on the fence (although I am very intrigued).
I backed the original Sig; but can't see backing the new edition because a) I haven't played the original version yet and b) I've never played a Forged in the Dark game. I don't think either of those will change before the crowdfund closes.
Yonder, even being in a closed social circle with the creator - I hadn't actually read the description. Finally read just the first sentence of the clip Egg put in the article. Now i'm officially intrigued; and will def back at the .pdf level.

I'm not sure about Stargate. They charge 60$ (if I remember correctly) for the pdf only campaign. And the chapters are released monthly or so. I'm not into public campaign, I would have been only interested if it came with a regular (print) campaign.

What are you talking about?!?! This is super not accurate at all.

I'm backing the Stargate project at the PDF-only level for a whopping $10. Print-and-PDF will set you back $60. The book is not being released chapter-by-chapter.
