is it just my less than optimistic view, or do you think they get buried in poorly put together resumes by poorly qualified people?

"needed, someone to test lazy boy chairs, must be willing to sit in them for hours straight eating pizza and playing video games, or watching action movies"

No relocation assistance?

How in the world do they expect to find any game designers in SEATTLE?

If only there was some pool of qualified designers who had recently been laid off... heyyyyy waitaminute....

Probably a better qualified pool now than at any other time, thanks to the OGL. :)

Yeah. This transcends "irony". For sheer density it passes "leady". Is "dwarfstar materialy" a word?

WotC laid off all those people because ... err ... they were professionals and would have quit anyway because WotC magerment appears to be like TSR?

I rather work for White Wolf that WotC/Hasbro ...

You might want to just run that resume past a grammar and spell checker first, though.

Uh- how do you know the designers would've quit? The economy sucks and WotC like a lot of other companies downsized to save costs. Happens all the time (especially the last couple of years).

And I don't think management at WotC is quite like it was during the TSR days...at least from the peeps I know that still work there.

The longevity of the breed seems to warrant more than just a "Move out here and we'll give you a try...for a spell, so to speak..."
