Modiphius, publisher of Star Trek Adventures, John Carter of Mars, Vampire: The Masquerade, Dune RPG, and so much more, is working on every type of tabletop game. To that end, they need three junior developers to act as fulltime or part-time wargamers on their development team. The position entails playtesting, some miniature painting, proofreading, research, working at cons, and, generally, living the wargame life in London. While it will be a serious job with deadlines and pressure like any career, this position may be an opportunity you’ll relish more than your current 9 to 5. You know that joke about playing [war] games for a living? Modiphius ain’t laughing. Read more here.

If gaming and selling games are both in your blood, Modiphius wants to hire you. They’re looking for a marketing and communications manager and gamer who knows how to position their products to gamers, retailers, distributors, publishers, and the wider world. The “gamer” part is key to obtaining this position as they want the candidate to already be active in the online gaming community. That focus is central to Modiphius’ success, they are not just looking for a warm body with a degree, they’re on the hunt for an active gamer who has the skills they can employ to grow the company. If you can sell games, London’s calling (here).

Fantastic jobs this month. I think the Uncanny Magazine call is especially forward thinking. A shame none of them are here in the ATL, but good jobs none the less.

I'm excited about Uncanny Magazine's call for disabled creators and I can't wait to read their work.
