But are you ready for me :)
[American pop movie reference] Mr. AGGEMAM, are you trying to seduce me? [/American pop movie reference]

Nope. You've got about 400 more strength than I, and probably a lot more defense. Plus all the hit points and stuff.

But there's something about RPG: There's very little variation of people with high levels. All the equipment is the same, all the enchantments are the same, and after 70+ levels, all the stats start to cluster around the same range.

So, give me time to get another 30 levels, and maybe then. (By which time, you'd have gained another 30, so never mind...)

@Nny:

Welcome to the #3 position.... I'm #2 in terms of Strength and in terms of wins. :P

Since Nny has a team member owns more than half of the bank, I'm pretty confident he'll get back up there :p

Inshallah, meet Steingrim. Steingrim, eat bloody Light Warrior. :]

Who needs to be strongest? I've got a Great Dane :p

Tsk... 'Tis a sad day, when I have a better opinion of Nny than you do (and, looking at the next post--damn four crashes in 45 minutes, anyone know of a good replacement for ZoneAlarm?--apparently better than Nny has of himself).

I mean, he's level 70+. I'd think he'd be able to cross the street without you holding his hand.

I'm mid-70s. I haven't accepted charity since around level 15. I'm sure you have managed to get to your vaunted level without relying on handouts from other players. I'm sure that most of the top 5 players haven't needed help anytime in the last twenty levels.

But Nny, Nny apparently is a particularly weak player, who needs every little bit of help possible.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

C'mon, Steingrim and Nny, have more confidence. Nny didn't get to this level by luck. He's got good equipment, he's got lots of experience, and he's got determination. Show some respect, at least. He's the head of your clan.

(And, in case it's not coming through, insert smileys as needed. :) )

You're level 70+, and still need to rely on the help of others? Don't care to do it the hard way, huh? Sure, take charity from Steingrim. Admit that you can't hack it on your own. After all, just because everyone else in the top five slots has managed to go it alone for the last twenty to fifty levels doesn't mean you have to, right? You're special, is that what you're saying?

:D :D :D

Bah, don't mistake apathy for weakness. I haven't needed or received a handout since I was under level 20. Frankly, I'm afraid the only reason you managed to slip by me is that the Balrog has become a bit of a bore. So I really couldn't be bothered to lift a finger to crush an insignificant hero who thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread because he didn't have anything better to do over the holiday weekend.

Welcome to the way evil works. Using my henchman to crush you isn't a sign of weakness - its called efficiency. Why kill you myself when I have minions to do it for me? I have better things to do :p

(like catch up on my Story Hours :heh: ;) )

Call it what you will...

Remember, I'm not the one who first insinuated that you couldn't go it alone. Steingrim was the one who suggested that, having a bankroll of more than 800k, he could easily give/lend the money to you to fill in the gaps in your equipment.

I think you're perfectly capable of going it alone--you've shown it thus far. It's Steingrim who thinks you need a little hand-out. :)

Ah, but you don't know the in game characters because that thread is on another messageboard so it would make perfect sense really.

But Steingrim likes skipping stones, he needs his skipping stones.
