RPGA-Running Online Events

I've tried to post this on the RPGA and Wizard's RPGA forums, but the darn thing doesnt want to load up for me for some reason and I thought I'd try my luck here. I seem to recall that the RPGA in the last few years allowed online events under certain conditions. Is it still the case that a herald GM can organize an online game? I'm assuming non DDI gaming VGT's (since the DDI game table doesnt exist yet) are still permitted.

Any idea what the limitations are? Also...near as I can tell, the herald test is still 3.5 version and not 4.0....any idea when that is changing?

Finally - anyone currently running any online RPGA games and looking for a player?

I don't see why it wouldn't be considered a "Home" game.

I started some extra discussion on the matter at Wizards.com, Maptools and Fantasy Grounds and here are some links. It should be pretty straight forwards. (except for the matter of Wizard's completely boffed forums! ;)

At this time we dont' have any ideas what the restrictions will be, but I would imagine they will be the same as home games. Not sure how "certs" will be sent out though..thoughts?
