RPGO: Questions about Blood And Space 2

Gearing up for a military sci-fi game, have Blood and Space 2 and I'm trying to get everything situated.

1) Early on in the product a requisite for military Allegiances is given as: "Military starting occupation or Basic Training feat." The Basic Training feat is not listed later in the product however.

I'm assuming this is a feat pulled from some of the Blood and Guts stuff, but I don't have any of those products. IS Basic Training a new feat offered or something I'm supposed to make up on my own? If it IS a new feat, what does it do?

I'm creating some minimum competancy requirements for PCs ... Light Armor Proficiency, Personal Firearms Proficiency, etc etc and if this rolls all of that together I guess I could do that.

2) Under the "Assault Training" feat, it says it adds +2 to all Tumble checks related to boarding, and to see the Skills section for details. But they don't expand Tumble in the Skills section as far as I can see. Was this, also, in an earlier Blood and Guts release?

Could anybody that has earlier products with these in them give me a clue-in?

Tumble is used to control EVA activities- it seems I decided to pull that for the upcoming Pirates book and forgot to excise all the references to it, my bad. Basically depending on how you're entering the ship (through a bulk head or something errr improvised), whether the ships are attached by a grapple and the relative speeds of the ship you'll have a DC to get inside. Until you do you're in a no man's land between ships and are flat-footed.

The Basic Training feat gives you all the benefits of the Military Occupation except the bonus feat.

Very excellent, Chuck, thanks. I figured you'd know and might answer, but I didn't want to impose as I knew you were working on non-BnS stuff. Guess you were the only one that knew. :)
