Archeville kneels down and checks the downed guard to see if he's mostly dead or mostly alive. If he needs it, Archeville tires to stabilize him. He also takes the man's communicator and any other small electronics he has on him (cellphone, watch, etc.), and stashes them in his labcoat pockets for future use.

Standing, he looks to Mr. Jones & Zenji. "Once more unto zhe breach, zhen. Shall I take point?"

Though badly injured, the man is not dead. A quick view of the blast area shows the carterize wound. If the guard was struck by his own weapon, there seems to be no lasting damage.

From the man's pockets Archeville retreaves a wristwatch, the communicator and a Magellen GSP reciever.

Ah, so much I could make with these, the super-scientist thinks to himself, if only there were time... and a Hero Point.

Archeville tries the front door, and, if unlocked, enters the building.

Mr Jones follows the super scientist upto the door and into the building, scanning around with all six of his senses for any evidence of the mental barrier he felt earlier.

OOC - Jones is looking forward to using his HP on some fancy spell now he has won one :> I don't think it will involve canabalising a GPS though.

Relieved that the gun doesn't seem to have hit the enemy, Zenji follows his colleagues into the building.

The trio stride to the front door, but the oaken frame is firmly shut and tightly locked.

Mr Jones looks on, very impressed, as the German deftly manipulates the lock. That sort of skill would make a whole lot of tricks more feasable; no need for Dr Archville to use rigged padlocks. "Bravo, you nearly have it just a little more pressure."

With Mr. Jones looking over the scientest's shoulder the lock pops and the door slowly creeks open. The interior of the building is quiet and a bit...daunting.
