RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Maddy easilly connects with the giant robot but the psionic brawler's attack has little effect on the hulking metal man.

Gauntlet freezes in horror for just a split second as the large robot crushes the young Japanese superhero. In a split second his horror turns to rage. The gears and pistons inside Gauntlet's huge metal arms flare to life with a loud ratcheting sound as he raises one mighty fist above his head. A sound akin to a cannon being fired is heard as he brings his fist down to the earth, unleashing a powerful shockwave all around him, hoping to bring both the ninjas surrounding him and the robot off their feet.

((OOC: Using Groundstrike Ability; radius = 100ft; trip check result (1d20+10=18); save dc to reduce = 20))

(Regardles of the result) Afterwards, he calls out to Maddy.

"Comrade! Dat zing looks tough, vee should combine our attacks to penetrate it's defenses!"

The ground tremors sending the ninjas that weren't knocked down by Maddy down to the ground now. The giant robot seems unfazed by the ground tremoring underhim.

Mr. Scares, I'll also need a trip check from Mr. Scares to resist Gauntlet's Shockwave

Mister Scares is taken by surprise by his friend's shockwave, and falls invisibly to his hands and knees. Enraged by the robot's attack on a child, though, he appears not to notice.

Not bothering to upright himself, the nightmare surges forward towards the 'bot. He moves as fast as a man can run, arms and legs bending in strange new places to accommodate his locomotion, and strikes at the machine in silent rage.

[sblock]This is a Charge (+2 attack, -2 Defense) at the robot, since it advanced forward to attack Oni-Kage. Modifiers include Invisible (+2 to attack) and Sneak Attack (+2 to damage).

He does feel fear from the ninjas, fear of failure and a few are actually afraid of the Robot

Mr. Scares slams into the robot, but the mechanical giant seems to take no notice, just as it ignored Maddy and Guantlet's attacks.

Nimbus!

Nimbus falters for a moment as the demon-child gets squished. She really wasn't prepared from that. But she shakes it off, invisibly advancing on the ninjas with the light. Her blade of light makes no sound as it cuts through the air toward her target.
