RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Scout can detect a boy and an older man in the car, she can't quite tell if it's the same boy from the park and doesn't know who the man is. Mecha hits the barrel throwing ape with her third shot as Titan trys to grab it. Kong lets out a bellow as the shell strikes him ducking Titan's arm. He doesn't seem to be harmed as he lobs a poorly aimed barrel back at Mecha, the wooden projectile beginning to roll down the exterior fire escape, where it passes harmlessly on the ascending doctor Archeville.

From inside the car Gus hears Itchtawa say, "Summon him now, Kio. The rioku has a similar power to summon creatures. This will work into my plans perfectly." the masked driver (OOC dressed as Racer X), far too short to be of driving age, nods and puts weaves his fingers together, his index fingers extended and together.

Sierra weaves the street changing illustion but the car doesn't drive off instead there is a large roar, a shimmer in the air and Godzilla, the King of Monsters himself now looms over the Ichitawa building.

[sblock=OOC (Raylis)]Heh. Evil twist, ... but Nice.

For Scout's next action, I need to get an idea of the surroundings (and since Scout was on the rooftop, I guess she should have a fair idea of the surroundings).
Is there any large open space within 1000ft? (Basically a place away from civilians, away from innocent bystanders)
How close is the Ocean? (I guess it's close since it is downtown Tokyo but Is it within 1000ft?)[/sblock]

Marie cheers as she finally manages to hit the Ape, the success breaking her out of her focus on the monkey. "Ha ha! Not so tough now are ya! I...uh. Wow." She stares up in shock at the new creation and then talks over the radio. "Ok, considering how tank vs. Godzilla normally goes, I'm REALLY not looking forward to this new development. Someone please tell me they have a plan? I'm open to suggestions, here."

Marie looks around for the nearest cover and ducks behind it while firing a few test shots at the giant lizard. "And if anyone knows where I can get some radiation shielding on short notice, now's a good time to speak up!"

Gus blinks at the sudden appearance of the giant reptile. He recognizes the figure... a recent arrival to the dreamworld, the Nuclear Lizard is still easily Japan's greatest nightmare. He stares at the back of the child's head, and clenches a heavy fist... he can make this a short fight, he thinks.

Then his hand unclenches. He may be a monster, but never in his centuries of existence has Gus hurt a child.

He knows there is no fear in the child's heart, and without fear conscience quickly vanishes. Even so, Gus must make the effort first. A terrible, disembodied voice rises within the car, its broken Japanese at once comical and threatening.

<Foolish summoner! With Gojira, you have taken game too far! Lay still, old man> he warns Ichitawa, <And banish your monsters, boy, before you feel teeth in throat!>

[sblock=Actions]
Gus is staying Invisible and Intangible. He is using his Fascinate (Intimidate) with the hope of immobilizing the car's inhabitants.

Intimidate (fascinate)-- possibly an additional +2, if being an unannounced invisible presence is scary enough to merit it. (1d20+15=24)

If the boy is Fearless, as I suspect, this might have no effect on him. GM's call. Still, Gus has a soft spot for kids... he can't just slug one from behind without giving him a chance to surrender.[/sblock]

Noting the boy's movements coinciding with the appearance of Godzilla, Scout decides that this is too much for coincidence.
[sblock=Scout's thoughts]It must be the boy, but how to solve this, ... hmmm, let's see if removing him from the locality works, after all his previous car simply disappeared once he'd made his escape.[/sblock]Scout then reaches out and attempts to move the boy with the power of her mind.

[sblock=Actions][Teleport attack on boy +Autohit (DC20 Reflex save, Teleport 1000') - Try to teleport boy as far as she can]
[If teleport on boy is sucessful, then she will teleport next to him but remain stealthed]
[Switch array to Teleport self (free action)]
[Teleport next to boy (free action)]
[Stealth +30, hide in plain sight]

[sblock=OOC]Victor_Von: Sorry for preempting Gus's action, but since Scout doesn't know what Gus is up to ...[/sblock]

[sblock="Shoulder Daemons"]What the devil is that sound?!

GOJIRA!

Wha-

GOJIRA!!! Or, as the Americans say, GODZILLA!!!

That can't be right -- Donkey Kong and Godzilla have never been in a video game together....[/sblock]

Archeville continues flying up the stairs, keeping an eye out for a hammer or other Donkey Kong-themed items, still holding to his "video game logic" theory. He also tries to push the sound of the mighty roar of the King of the Monsters out of his mind.

The boy remains in the car, seemingly resistant or dodged, Scouts teleport attempt. Mecha easilly hits the infamous monster but it ignores the blast and begins to move into the city.

On the rooftop Titan and Donky Kong exchange whiffs the video game icon dodging the Resolute's strike and Titan easilly moving out of the way of a barrel that appeared in DK's hands. Archeville reaches the top of the building with no hammer in sight.

In the car Ichitawa's face turns ashen and he stiffens at the sound of Gus's voice.

<<"I know your voice. You are my Night Demon. You don't scare me anymore. Maybe I'll take the game further. Maybe I'll bring out the rest of them. Then what will you do Night Terror, you have no teeth to bite my throat. Tell your friend to work more power on me? Maybe I won't resist next time and see what happens. Maybe I'll just disappear. the boy keeps his fingers weaved together and slowly fades from sight.

Outside the car another Gojira appears, this one made of metal.

The two guards, both the fascinated one and his parter balk at the sight of another monster and bolt inside.

Night Terror? His? Gus feels a fire burning in his belly at the implications of what he's hearing. Boy is enslaving dreams!

Turning to Ichitawa, the invisible Gus growls:

<<Boy is calling them all, Old Man. All the monsters. Your Dream Thief will destroy city-- destroy you! Then where will you be?>> Gus hisses at the aging criminal. <<How do I stop him?>>

[sblock]Gus is trying to Intimidate Ichitawa into helping. I know that Ichitawa probably doesn't know any key weaknesses, but it seems dramatically appropriate.
