Archeville lands near Mecha Musume, "Hey, do you need-"

[sblock=Shoulder Daemons]Yikes! Tokyo's big, modern buildings are earthquake- and tsunami-resistant, but I'm not so sure about giant ape-proof!

Probably not... say, who's the gal with the guns?

Hunh? Oh, her -- must be one of the Resolutes sent ahead of us. Kensai said there was a "Shadow," a "Spirit Talker," and a "Teleporter."

We saw the Teleporter. Hard lil' body, that one...

Stop that!

Gave us a gift, too, the camera... before that witch stole it and turned it into a frakin' ribbon!

We'll get to that later, right now we've got to stop that giant ape! Now, what've we got, who've we got here?

Well, she ain't the Teleporter... well, probably not, hard to tell with all the armor. She certainly doesn't look like a Shadow... but she doesn't look like any Spirit Talker, either. Shame the Resolutes Member Database isn't fully up yet. So, is she someone else? A local newbie?

Could be... won't know 'till we talk to her. But priorities are-

Yeah, yeah, look -- what can we do? Since my really, really nice Blaster is gone, there's not much we can do!

Shows what you know. Think, man -- if these things are being made by some kid, maybe the best way to take them out is to follow their own logic.

So, what, treat it like a video game? Go into the building that it's on top of, go up the stairs (which are probably collapsing and/or on fire), find a hammer along the way, then pop out onto the roof and hope the ape disappears when we touch it?

Yup.

... Okay, then. But we should have a back-up plan.[/sblock]

Archeville cuts himself off in mid-sentence, "excuse me, I've got a plan to try", then turns and flies off towards the building with Kong.

"You should keep firing!" he calls back to Musume before out of earshot.

Titan shrinks back to normal size and keys up his communicator, "Hey Doc, we're out of our predicament, where you want us?"
He looks over at Sierra and asks, "What do you think we should do next, any chance of getting me near that ape, or do we want to go in the building and talk to the big shot inside?"

Scout replies to Gus over the communicator ... still speaking quietly "Gus, Just follow him for the moment. We need to know more about the situation and he is our best bet for answers."

Scout pauses a moment as Marie opens fire, then speaks into the communicator "Resolutes, Keep the ape busy. Will attempt to locate the boy. Scout out."

She then turns the volume right down on her communicator and 'ports.

[sblock=Actions][Switch array to 'Teleport self' configuration]
[Teleport in an outwardly spiralling perimeter around the ape and try to locate the boy, either visually or with blindsense. Remain stealthed while teleporting]
[Teleport (free action)]
[Notice +30]
[Stealth +30 (Hide in plin sight)]

"You want to fight the ape? How okay are you with a Fastball Special?" Sierra asks Titan, "I'm guessing that unlike Wolverine, you don't have healing factor."

"I was thinking more of a teleport, but I'd be up for it", Titan says as he shrinks down to a foot tall.

"I can't Teleport other people without getting tired, so can't do that," she waves her hands at Titan in a 'no, don't do that' fashion as he looks ready to shrink, "Stay at your larger size to deal with that damned dirty ape. I can get you there at that size."

*Sierra will fling Titan at the ape with her Psychokinesis.*

I am quiet, like a shadow. Gus agrees. The bogey-man keeps a close watch on Ichitawa, ready to follow the aging businessman at a moment's notice.

As Archeville flies toward the ape, the incredible flying Titan catches up to hi. The ape grins as the pair near, a barrel appearing out of nowhere in its hands. As the beast tosses the projectile it explodes, having been in the path of Mecha's next shot.

Meanwhile at the building Circe and Mr. Scares see a white car zoom around the corner, two wheels in the air. It's a sleek white car with a gold 5 on a red circle on the side of the car. Ichitawa gives a slight shake of his head and heads into the car.

Sorry for the absense, RL caught up with me.

I'm going to try to a "progressive combat"; in other words roll init and post and action and I"ll note everything. When everyone has posted an action/or a day or two has passed I'll post the round. If for some reason your action becoms invalid, the mook drops or whatever I'll change target or put a reasonable action. Conditional actions are fine by me and should an action become invalid and there is something else you came up with to do instead I'll retcon it.

Scout's reactions are suberb as she 'ports in a perimeter around the big ape, hidden, alert and searching.
