RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

<<That ape is not a fake like Gojira. It's the real thing, that the bad guys are making,>> Sierra responds patiently to the stubborn guard, her voice still soothing, <<The Gojira was a distraction to protect Tokyo from the real monster. Now, I do know who the bad guy is who made the real monsters, and I can tell you if you just calm down and see things from our perspective.>>

'Of course, maybe you already know who that is because you work for him...it seems highly likely.'

"<<If only I had some control over the 'witch'?>>" Archeville mutters under his breath, in Japanese. He then resumes speaking aloud, "<<Respectfully, I regret I cannot do that -- I've got an ape to stop.>> Sierra, I trust you can handle these gentlemen on your own for a few moments?" he finishes in English.

Archeville then appears to warp and weave before disappearing from view.

OOC: Activating Concealing (all visual & radio; close range; blending) Force Field, and using Flight to move -- at a normal walking pace -- straight up.

Okay... so how the heck am I going to stop a rampaging Kong? Hrrmmm....

Once they get to the top of the lift shaft, Scout pauses briefly to examine the roof, and then 'ports herself and Marie onto the top of the roof next top a skylight.

She then taps her resolute communicator and speaks quietly, yet clearly, "Scout reporting. Nothing of particular interest. Gus, what's your status, and what's the story with our 'reinforcements'?"

OOC: not unusually power or willful-I gave him a circumstance bonus because he's ignoring her and focused on his ear piece...and he's been rolling well! My last two F2F games had the "indestructable mook"...and he's apparently making a cameo O.o

As Archeville disappears the man fires off a shot <<Stop! damned ryoku...>> He turns to Titan, still ignoring the schoolgirl guised Sierra <<Hands on the wall, now!>>

The other guard nods at Sierra's words, completley transfixed on them.

Archeville continues (slowly & invisibly) levitating, trying to see exactly where the giant ape is and what it's up to.

A shame we didn't get to see how well Sierra's Godzilla ruse would've worked, but it would probably have increased the panic levels exponentially, so maybe it is for the best it got nixed. Now, the Ape... maybe I can lead it away... fly around in front of it's face... distract it, at least... ooh, must try and get some readings on it, too, try and find out if it's made of real matter or something else.

(OOC: Hahaha, awesome! Note that even if he doesn't understand any of the words due to lack of focus, the power works if he can hear the sound of her voice and not through language (the Diplomacy, though, admittedly does not).)

*With Archeville gone, Sierra, not liking to be ignored, approaches the guard slowly, casually, and in a non-threatening manner while continually talking with him. If she is being ignored, he won't even notice as she gets right up next to him. But she's hoping he'll notice her and pay attention to what she is saying.*

(OOC: Next verse, same as the first!)

As she waits for a response over the communicator from Gus, Scout takes a quiet look around whilst remaining out of sight.

Gus backs away from Ichitawa so not to be noticed, the incident with the headset still fresh in his mind.

Am standing behind Ichitawa-san. He is quite afraid of Resolutes-- did you know? Gus pauses uncertainly.

Ape is... really quite large, and am not as strong during daylight. Should I assist? Or stay hidden, and follow Ichitawa to his meeting?
