Rule of Three Questions

Figured I'd start a new thread as the old ones have fallen off the page:

1. In terms of epic support, wouldn't one of the easiest ways to do this, at least for monsters, be to update material like Legends and Lore where whole pantheons could be updated?

2. The new monster book seems to indicate that the flow of Heroic, Paragon, and Epic is off scale in that many of the threats, regardless of power level, are still 'local', whereas Paragon is often described as "saving nations or even worlds." Is this a deliberate choice?

3. As we see more monsters getting makeovers and revisions, any chance we'll see a similiar article for iconic magic items to give them back their unique features or to drain some of the generic out of them?

These are all leading questions. They all have some sort of assumed statement built into them. These questions are not likely to be picked because not everybody who reads the web-site is going to make the same assumptions.

You could rephrase them like so:

1. Are there any plans to update epic-level content from earlier editions, for example from Legends and Lore?

2. How do recent releases reflect the design philosophy that heroic tier monsters tend to be local threats while paragon tier monsters may threaten nations or even worlds?

3. Are there any plans to make revisions to iconic magic items?

Replying to the existing thread will push it back to the front page. Why start a new thread?
