Just do something sleazy, like "I whack the Vrock when the Vrock starts producing a magical effect".

If your GM allows it, this covers the Vrock doing a SLA, spell, wand, or potion even I suppose. After all, when Vrock's look constipated, you know something spell-like is gonna happen.
