D&D 5E Run DnDBeyond “encounters” inside the Maps vtt!

Looks like all they show is HP and AC. So ... still flipping back and forth unless you have enough screen space to multiple screens open.
Yeah, that's a bit annoying, but I'm sure they'll get to that sooner or later. Unlike other DDB features, Maps is being actively worked on. I used to use Photoshop as a makeshift VTT, but Maps has enough handy features now that it's become my go-to, and I mainly run game in person. Meanwhile, my thousands of D&D minis are silently weeping in their containers ... ;)

If I were doing remote again, I'd probably use maps. There are some features I would miss from Roll20 but took soo much time to set things up properly.

We use foundry....I can't imagine having to have three screens basically, with foundry (or maps) and discord...... And then having to add another for monsters. I'm already overwhelmed as the DM for a remote group sometimes

I use it for my in-person games. For one campaign, the player who usually hosts has a TV in his shed to which I hook up my laptop and then drag the Maps spectator view screen to the TV display. I've taken to doing something similar for my home game.

I'd love to be able to afford one of those fancy gaming tables with a built-in screen in the middle. That would be epic!
