I'm planning on running Age of Worms. However, my group don't meet that often and I don't like the way the higher level adventures are railroaded.
My proposed solution is to remove Dragotha. This cuts out four adventures and finishes the campaign at about 16th level. I need to redo some NPCs motivations, and obviously redo the stats in the last adventure, but basically when the party get to Allustan the campaign will be nearly over.
What do other people who have run or played in Age of Worms think of this? As I see it, Dragotha stays in the background for so long that his absence won't even be noticed.
