Ouch! Well, it is MIT, so there's probably a reason for it.
Maybe...all my other courses so far have been fairly fun and not too much time-guzzling (for the most part--Systems and Signals was not fun at all)...What makes me angry is that the course doesn't count as an Institute Lab, whereas other majors often do, allowing them to kill two birds with one stone. This means I'm going to have to take like a Management lab or something too :sigh:

And that is why I chose GUE Tech, instead.

(10 points to anyone who gets the reference. ;) )

Rystil - Congrats on 10,000 in 6 months. Please send me a copy of the neural interface you must be using. :p

Congratulations! If I had actually had time to post this past month or two, it might've been a closer race to see who'd hit 10k first. ;)

Hmmm...Living in my parents basement, guzzling down potato chips with one hand as I type to forums with the other hand, never moving from that one spot? :heh:
That's better than other forms of one handed typing

It's either Global Underwater Explorers or that place from Zork Grand Inquisitor which was supposedly based on MIT.

Neural interface? I don't know what you're talking about
::hides the neural interface under the rug--no one would think to look there::

Well I wasn't exactly in top posting form for the month of August either ;)
Yeah, I know, but I had a chance to catch up and couldn't take it.

You were closer with the latter. George Underwood Edwards Institute of Technology, or GUE Tech, was the setting for the old text based Infocom game "The Lurking Horror." They may have called something that in "Zork: Grand Inquistor", but it was nothing like the one in the old game, and it was made by Atari/Infogrames/Activision/whatever-the-crap-they-call-themselves-now and not Infocom, so feh. ;)
