If you get the chance, it might be worth your time looking into getting a magic weapon. You clearly have room to improve your damage output.

8 is pretty good for me with a melee attack--I've pretty much ignored my Strength score in favour of Int, Cha, and Con.

Maybe I'll pick up Tenser's Transformation at level 11...though that'll be 55,000 posts, so it'll never happen.
