?'s about starting races for characters...

Hello I'm new here and the name is Lord Stark. Ok moving right along then, I'm looking for a plethera of starting races that have been converted to 3ed. In 2nd Ed D&D there was a book called the Book of Humanoids or some such. In this book was many different types of starting races with all different types of racial abilities and modifiers. The only book I have seen that comes close to this is the D20 Mystic Races book. There are a few in there but I'm looking for more.

Does anyone know where there are some online much like the creature collection here that has all those neat 3ed converted monsters.

Also while I'm on the topic how about a spot that has all those second edition character Kits converted into 3ed Prestige classes.

well, for one thing you'll want to follow this link.

there you'll find, among many other creatures, such races as
Beastman
Flind
Fremlin
Mongrelman
Half-Ogre
Swanmay

other races from the complete book of humanoids have appeared in other books, mainly the Monster Manual, Monsters of Faerun, and Monster Manual II.

Also you could try to sift trough the homebrews section of this forum, there is a tendency for new playable races to pop up there from time to time...
