Sacred Fist

The Sacred Fist PrC grants a free domain for the PC as one of its abilities.

The PrC class can though be taken by Paladins and Rangers. Would they get anything from this PrC bonus or would it merely be a lost ability on them?

What if the character in question was a BOTR Holy Warrior? They have domains though those domains are generally more powerful than standard cleric domains. Would you allow a Holy Warrior turned Sacred Fist to become pick a 3rd domain or would he merely not gain any benefit from this ability as well?

as i understand the text in dotf, if you qualify for a prestige domain, you get the spell access and granted power but it's not like you start kicking ass like a 12th level cleric with the war domain.

there's a blurb under domains in the splatbook which should help you (mine's on loan).

I'd agree that it's unclear, but that the text on prestige domains suggests that Paladins and Rangers do get the domain.

As for Holy Warriors, they should definitely get a clerical domain, not a holy warrrior domain. The two are not equivalent, and the Sacred Fist is clearly talking about clerical domains.

You are right. Holy Warrior Domains are much more powerful ability wise (ie not counting the spells at all).

It shall make for an interesting character. Holy Warror 4 / Sacred Fist 6
