D&D 3E/3.5 SAGA skills for 3.5

Ok man if there just getting 1 point every 3 levels then thats not bad. if ya wanna have some fun with skills ya could go with a system like
Trained +3
skilled +5
expert +7
master +9

Now this does away with skill focus but could be some fun.

The interest skill's were an ideal about shild hood skills and such what I would do if ya wanted to improve them I can think of 2 options

1 by using 1 skill choice you gain a +1 to 3 of your interest skills
2by using a skill choice you gain a +4 to one skill

now the +4 is because of extra time you have in it . the 3 at +1 is ya dabbling with it over time.

Now I myself would still use the every even level thing but I like alot of skills .

Sorry for the horrendous delay...

My player's and I finally voted and accepted a set of rules for the rest of the game.

They are as follows:

Base skill points + int = trained skills at level 1 (fighter 2+int, rogue 8+int, etc...)

The bonus trained skills gained because a high intelligence do not have to be from the class list of class skills (a fighter with 12 int, could pick diplomacy as a trained skill)

Skill checks:

- Trained class-skill: 1d20+5+character level
- Trained cross-class skill: 1d20+5+character level/2
- Untrained: 1d20+character level/2

You still can't roll if the skills in not usable untrained.

Every 3 levels, every character get one and only ONE of the following:

- An extra trained skill
- Skill focus on one of his trained skills
- An extra language

Skills:

Tumble+Balance = Acrobatics
Jump+Climb+Swim = Athletics
Lisen+Spot = Perception
Hide+Move Silently = Stealth
Use rope is absorved by Sleight of Hands

And that's it, as you can see... it's pretty much as I commented beforehand, I commented the hole post to my players, and they liked many ideas, but we finally settled for this.
