Everyone else made the save (other than Ellina, and she only fails on a 1 or 2, and being a Halfling she re-rolls the 1) so we can check up on her on her turn (she likely makes it).

I just thought of this, let me know if it's too late. I can use my inspiration to give the sorcerer Advantage on that save! Too late?

You can only use it on your own attack rolls, saves and checks sadly, and it's too late as well.
The caster in the sphere of blue force on the Gith ship continues to gesture as he has been all battle, seemingly unfazed by the recent goings on, or that he is now on an unpowered Skiff.

It's not sleep. It's a KO. Elves are not immune to the unconscious condition.

I 100% agree that it's too late, no issues!
But, future reference, you can give your inspiration to another player per RAW.
