San Diego - good OOP game stores?

I'm off to a knowledge management conference in San Diego tomorrow. Can anyone recommend good gaming stores or bookstores with old OOP D&D stuff?

Game Empire has a used games book shelf (it is in clairemont a subdivision that is a 30 minute drive from down town). This is not typically the place you will find the mint copy of B3 to round out your collection, you will likely find 90% crap and one gem. And the gem will be something like a used copy of Feng Shui hardback...or something like that.

Other than that, I'm still looking for a good used book store.

Hmmm, thanks for the suggestions folks. I've got some ideas from perusing the WotC retail stores section of their site, but even that looks mostly like ccgs....

Find local used books stores. It is these places that I find the best OOP gaming supplies. They also don't give them ridiculous prices like many gaming stores do.

There is a gaming store in La Mesa called Do or Dice. If they don't have what your looking for then they will order it. Plus they sell everything at like 10-15% off. 20% if your in the military, which I am, so I can't remember if it is 10% or 15% for civilians. The website is http://www.doordice.com Game Empire, mentioned above, is the next best thing.

If you're still in the area, try Game Towne in the Old Town part of San Diego (north of downtown on the 5, take the Old Town exit, it's on Harney Street in old town).

I just got back to San Jose today, and wasn't able to escape the conference at all during my stay :( Thanks for the suggestions, perhaps I'll be able to follow-up on them again next time :D

I grew up in San Diego and have not been back for any substantial amount of time for over a decade, and it warms my heart to hear that Game Towne is still going strong.

A truly great and well stocked store, in a beautiful area of town.

I remember being a 10-year-old kid going to Game Towne and digging through the back issues bins of Dragon and saving up to buy some of the "really old ones" (issues 50-59 or so). This was back when "Sorcerer's Apprentice" was still published (it's a T&T magazine).
