[Sandstorm] What the heck are these new weapons?

The rest seem relatively obvious but the thing on the lower right looks very much like a "Mangler" from Arcana Unearthed.

They mentioned in one of the previews that the book would include the great scimitar, great falchion. and collapsing crescent fan.

The knife is a throwning knife.

For reasons I can't explain but can probably guess, the weapon has been popularized because Buffy used it in an episode. The very thought of Buffy having anything to do with this weapon causes my brain to shriek in horror.

Yes, it´s a throwing knife. Based on a real world weapon from Congo area. It was well balanced and spinned well when thrown. Since it has a cuttin edge on all sides it is certain to create a mess when it hits.

The two swords at the top are the great falchion and great scimitar. The whip-like thing is a scorpion-tail whip, the crab claws are known as scorpion claws and are grappling devices and the weirdly-shaped throwing knife in the bottom right-hand corner is a thrombash.

I don't have Sandstorm, but I have seen a weapon like the one in the lower right corner IRL. It is a thrown weapon. It is designed that whichever way it hits, there is a blade there to pierce. When throwing a conventional knife/axe, you have to learn to judge your distance from the target, so you can know whether to throw the knife by graping the hilt or the blade, so as the pointy end ends up at the target at the right time. (or the blunt end if you want to knock someone out) (yes, you can do this).
