Santa Claus: Druid? Cleric?

Santa Claus, a.k.a. Saint Nicholas, is a deity.

First, he's all-knowing. He knows if you've been naughty or nice. He know what you want for reward.
Second, he's a judge of souls. He determines alone whether you've deserved reward (gifts) or punishment (coal).
Third, he's omnipotent. In a single night, he's everywhere at once, and give the just reward to everybody.
Fourth, he has a legion of servants -- his own angels, the Christmas Elves.

Santa Claus, in other words, is a metaphor for God. As such, this thread is nothing else than a "what are God's stats" and will be closed because politics & religions aren't allowed.

(Oh, and everybody's told when they grow up that they've been fed with lies about God-Santa, that he doesn't exist.)

Has anyone ever come up with class, stats, etc. for Santa Claus and his reindeer?

No, but we did fight against a fiendish Teddy Ruxbin back in high school.

And I have modeled Santa Clause on his Throne of Power for my stuntie army in Warhammer Fantasy Battles...

There is also the notion that DnD-style deities feed off of belief (this notion is given rules in Upper Krust's long delayed Immortal's Handbook Worshipper Points system). The existence of millions of believers in Santa supports the notion that Santa is at least a minor deity. I wonder if small children provide as many worshipper points as adults? I wonder if adults paying lip-service to the existence of Santa counts at all for worshipper points?

During the Christmas Season (i.e. November and December) Santa's status should get higher. That's when people start thinking about him again. Depictions of Santa in art, people dressing as Santa, Christmas specials featuring Santa; all those should act to increase belief for him. On Christmas Eve offerings (of milk and cookies) are actually left out for him; maybe that's what puts him "over the top" and gives him the power for his annual trip.

I'm not sure if he should be modeled as a human cleric who ascended to divinity (the historical Bishop Nicholas) or as a deity created out of whole cloth in the 19th and 20th centuries. If the former, it would make sense to stat him up as a cleric, maybe with the saint template.

Maybe Upper Krust will get his act together before Christmas, and we can figure this all out!
