Hello,
My name is Arnold and i run an ongoing Sunday night D&D group. We are all adults (college to 40's) with varying backgrounds from 1st edition to people who came to the table through computer rpg's. The campaign pivots a lot between role play and combat, but currently is leaning toward more action oriented gaming. Story is important and especially the personality and character development of individual characters. I gm and i am cobbling together a world out of modules due largely to a lack of prep time (and a lack of self confidence in my GMing, i had been away from the game for more than 20 years when i started the group and took over GMing less than a year ago). But there are deep undercurrents to all the activities that point to a darker evil lurking on the horizon (both horizons actually, but thats another issue).
We meet Sunday nights from 5:30-9:30ish, with some email banter during the week to keep interest up (strategizing for the PC's, doling out experience, recapping for players who missed etc.). Right now we are down to four players and we are losing one at the end of the month as he is leaving the country. That leaves us with at least two vacant spots at the table.
If you are interested in checking the game out, drop me an email arnold@kitenerd.com and you can join us for a session running an NPC (these heros have attracted some hangers on
. If the group seems like a good fit we'll take it from there.
Hope to meet you soon
Arnold
