I have not been happy with the last couple of batches of MM critters. Not just because they have tended to be 4e-centric but because I don't think they look very good. Savage Encounters, however, looks pretty sweet.
* Inhabited corpse: Meh, but heh, it doubles as a corpse.
* Specter: Not how I usually picture them, but cool looking, and it certainly looks like something.
* Bodak skulk: Creepy.
* Skeletal cylcops: Hard to go wrong with this theme. Also, much nicer looking then previous cyclops.
* Nightwalker: Twice as scary as the previous nightwalker mini.
* Goblin wolf rider: Very solid, although I'm not sure about goblin going green.
* Norker: Sure, why not?
* Shardstorm vortex: As a 3e/Pf player I don't know what I would do with this, but it looks cool.
* Human outrider: Sexy!
* Windfiend fury: Cool looking air elemental.
* Bullwug guard and mudlord: Bullywugs!
* Gray and black slaad: Nice.
* Greenvise vine: Something I don't have. Very cool.
* Goblin skullcleaver: Good general purpose greenie.
* Adult gray dragon: This one is actually not very interesting to me, since I don't have stats or a particular use for a "gray dragon" but it looks cool.
* Hobgoblin hand of bane: A hobgoblin I can respect. Note: Does not look like cheap orc knockoff.
* Salamander archer: Good for a salamander archer, or maybe some kind of fiend.
* Sorrowsworn reaper: Whatever that is supposed to be, it could also double as a really, really cool half-fiend fighter.
* Drider fanglord: Top shelf.
* Adult Purple Dragon: Again, not something I feel the need to own, but it looks cool enough I might do something with it. Reminds me of Malificent.
* Angel of valor legionnaire: You shall not pass!
* Legion devil legionnarie: Solid looking figure, could double for a tiefling.
