Savage Species in D20M?

Okay, here's one for the number crunchers and game math wizards... Would the Monster Classes from [/i]SS[/i] be compatable in D20 Modern? Not just for baddies, mind you, but for the PCs?

Yes, this is intended as a thought exercise... although, it could come up in a potential Urban Arcana or a very bizare Shadow Chasers game, I suppose.

Basically yes. You had to do some converting, but rule-wise, it's possible.
The only thing about is: is it appropriate

Well...

Yup! It all comes down to how appropriate the monster would be for a gaming session...

For example, a PC red dragon might be a bit over teh edge whereas a PC Mind Flayer could be a bit more managable. The only thing GM's need to look out for is how the new race would balance the game...
